Kirimanku sing disponsori dhisik kanggo Prapta, situs web jejaring sosial sing nyathet "Kabeh Urip Ana Ing kene!" Dheweke uga bisa dadi sing pertama sing bisa pratelan "Kabeh ing Jaringan Sosial lan Web 2.0 Ana Ing kene!" Wong-wong iki pancen wis kerja keras tenan!
Saka sudut pandang teknologi, teknologi kasebut ana ing mburi Prapta is nothing short of extraordinary. The site is 100% Ajax. Forums, Blogs and other activities center around Life Experiences in the network. It's a really cool take on social networking… rather than me, me, me or you, you, you, Prapta dipusatkan ing sekitar "we". Dheweke nglumpukake kabeh informasi ing aplikasi kasebut pengalaman.
Aku yakin klompok umur target kanggo Prapta is probably young adults (I'm too old to enjoy some experiences like the Absinthe discussion below! :).
There's also a very robust search engine that would rival sembarang layanan kencan online. Bayangake kencan online yen duwe blog, diskusi, pengalaman urip, olahpesen cepet, widget lan obrolan online (obrolan bakal teka) lan sampeyan wis Prapta! Yen mbukak layanan kencan online, sejatine aku bakal goyang babagan solusi kaya iki.
Everything in a review can't be rosy, though, right? Although the application ran flawlessly (it really did – I had no problems at all), I think there's a huge opportunity for improvement in the aesthetics of the application. IMHO, Web 2.0 isn't just about Ajax interfaces, it's also about simplicity and ease of use.
Logo kanggo Prapta kabur lan uni-dimensi. Logo uga vertikal nalika antarmuka biasane horisontal mula katon ora pas. Kabeh sing ana ing layar mono-nada, ora ana dimensi, gradien, utawa bayangan. Aku ngerti manawa bagean iki amarga kemampuan ngatur kaca nanging nggawe aplikasi dadi rata (wis dituju).
I would advise a robust theming interface rather than the current customization options… allow people to dynamically change everything rather than simply font, font-size and page colors. Web 2.0 is about expressing yourself – this is what makes other social networks very popular. As well, some component placement is crowded and not cross-browser. For instance the font and color customization doesn't render correctly for me:
Ngandika, aku kudu menehi Prapta the highest grades possible given the capabilities of the application and not the aesthetics. This is an awesome undertaking and the developers deserve great credit! An investment in a great graphic artist experienced with web applications would drive this application into the mainstream and popular. I honestly think it's the only reason why I hadn't heard of Prapta sadurunge!
One last tip: There's no need to promote the solution as Ajax or Web 2.0. People aren't going to use your application for these reasons. Promote the site for what it is – a fantastic place to share experiences, discuss them, and find others!
